Freeway Troubles

Its been a while since I've been able to drive my work route in a timely fashion, several months actually. Driving up 215 N to 115 N past Farmington and Layton then to Clearfield, I run right into the lane closures associated with the Legacy Highway project. Ugh. Depending on the day, the entire highway, north and south can be closed to one lane going both ways. You would think that they'd have the closures during the day and late night, but alas, no. Not only do they have the bulk of construction operating during the day, but they keep it going into rush hour. So as I drive and the later it becomes, the longer the line of semi trucks gets, until around 3 o'clock the four lane line of traffic is STOPPED from Farmington (Lagoon overpass) clear south to Bountiful (abt. 500 S). I don't know who exactly is in charge of roadwork policy in our state goverment, but frankly, I'm ashamed that the good people of Utah let them into office. Its insulting to our intelligence. Today however, only one lane of traffic was closed throughout the day. This made me slightly nervous. After so many stressful traffic filled days, how could my bad luck possibly allow this? How am I to be alarmingly bum rushed in the future to make up for this momentary lax of Trevor-torturing protocol? I'll bet they decide to close ALL lanes of the freeway while eating their lunch in the middle of the road. I can see it now. OR, they could simply park a car on the side of the road, seeing how motorists are so fond of slowing to stare at other cars. This has in fact created near closure conditions, simply becuase some douche decided to stare at a slightly odd construction vehicle. Aaargh! It's sometimes very clear why I don't carry a gun.
